One of my amps went silent with the front end tubes not lighting up with dark filaments. Strangely all the KT88s have their filaments lit and B voltage present. Since the Vh on both types is the same 6.3V, this is confusing. I suppose the front end heaters can be separate DC or a cold joint on the filament voltage wire for all three tubes...
I am going to open up the beast and take a look tomorrow.
Any Hurricane owners out there experienced the same problem?
