Thanks Bambi for your advice, I'm using two amperex BB D getter 50's, amperex 7316 and two Siemens 5814A 3 mica in my amp, I really liked combination. I use only one mullard ecc83 LP 50's square getter for my cathode follower in my pre amp but I have tried using too many mullard(M8137) or anything rich like RCA 50's black plate,it make my system sound too rich, vocal rounded and kinda slow, if it makes any sense. My system uses five 12AX7 and three 12AU7.
The Valvo I've mentioned are the 1950's 45 degree declined getter, they are for my JA80 power amps. I will very grateful if you can tell me the characterics of the Valvos and are there any difference in sound among the later Hamburg ones? Second question: what does old triple mica Sylvania 5751 sounds like? 5751 usually have lower gain, I wonder if I can use them in direct replacement to 12AX7 ?? My Jadis uses auto biasing. Thanks,
Alexander H
