I have just starting listening to a quad of the new jjkt77's in my quicksilver GLA. While they are a little crooked and yes I did see some mica flakes inside one of them I have to say they sound pretty damn good! Very clear and open sounding with more extension up top and a solid bass. Midrange not as lush as an el34 but overall a very nice suprise especially after reading the last posts on these tubes. Would be great if the quality control could be better but at least there are some really great new tubes being released all the time and they are getting better and better sounding! Anyway just my input on the new tubes.
