I would like to get a different type of dampener for a new amp than the Herbie's I use on my old one. I like the Herbies but don't like the fact when he stopped wholeselling to and/or using a dealer network his retail prices did not go down for the direct consumer. Enough of a margin to wholesale means enough of one to lower consumer direct prices, at least a little, upon going to exclusively direct sales. Oh, my goodness, it must have been that drastic jump in raw material costs;-)Has anybody tried the EATs? Or made any good homebrew devices?
