New Herbie tube rings...

Hi All:

I'm a very happy user of the "old" model of Herbie's tube rings. Now I see he's offering nickel alloy rings and Peek rings as well. Not to mention the new "supersonic" isolation sleeves. It seems that my old Herbie's 6C33 4-donut rings already have them, but they may not be exactly the same material as the new ones (?)

Any observations? Some q's:
For my 6C33's- I alread use the 4-donut ring older Herbie verions. Should I upgrade to nickel alloy? It seems he no longer sells the teflon center ring for the 6C33 app. Peek?

For the rest: anyone have any ideas re:nickel allow vs. teflon? How about that Peek (seems not avail)? Can we ground the nickel allow rings? Seems not, as I'd guess that the donuts would electrically isolate the nickel ring from the tube (?)

Please advise & thanks!
-Larry
