My MV-55 is still in its original ultalinear setup.I have also long plate Mullard 12ax7's & RCA VT-231's but I keep on coming back to tubes which emphasize air & treble (even at the expense of midrange!)
Do you remember the sonic differences between the EH, Sylavnia, and GE?
