Sorry, but I've forgotten most of what I once learned about tubes. I'm considering replacing my EL34's with 6CA7's, but the 34's are running in the triode mode. 34's are Pentode design, 6CA7's are Tetrode. If you know the answer, please explain the details in layman's terms. Thanks for the help. I don't know how I functioned prior to the internet!
