I know every one else is going to say mullard so I'll interject these thoughts.
I have one Phillips 5ar4 that is a large bottle that I like alot and due to it's size gives a nice glow. I also favor an Amperex 5ar4 as well that has a nice low halo glow and gives a blue aura on the glass.
Of course and as always YMMV.
