I agree, as I installed new tung-sol's in my St-150 as well.
I have about 200 hours on them, and I actually prefer them over every tube that I have tried so far. I think I tried every available 6550 and kt-88 except the new chinese model which i can't think of the name right now.
The St-150 is an incredible tube amp that I enjoy very much..
