I've used the 6H23-EB version from Voshkod, 1982 vintage with my C-J 16LS2. Very linear, strong but not over-empahsized bass. Doesn't have the cachet (or quite the finesse) of the NOS giants like Amperex, Siemens, Telefunken, et al. but a very competent tube.
