Hi - I put a link here to some postings from about a week ago where the poster was trying to decide on which ARC preamp would fit their needs. We talked mostly about the SP-3, SP-6 and SP-8.If you read each reply - you'll see what a couple of us prefer for SP-8 tubes. I should add that "way back when" we didn't know each other and never discussed this until we had tried several brands and just happen to be posting around the same time a couple of years ago.
I should also note that during this last round of postings we didn't mention that the person might be just as happy with come current tubes rather than spending $$$$ for NOS.
