Dear all
I've had the Ref3 for over one year, since the factory ran in the tubes before shipment, my reading on the meter is now almost 2900.
two questions:
1. Is it nearly time to change these tubes? ( 5 x 6H30 + 1 x 6L6GC)
2. ARC said that I could simply substitute the 6L6GC with 6550 tubes which sounds better. Is the GE6550 one of the best match for the power supply of the Ref3? If not, what would you recommend please.
