You may find the Amperex 7119 PQ or Philips 7119 SQ (same tube) to your liking.I've used the 'Holland' made versions. I have not tried the Amperex 7119 that was made in New York. ( a lot of people prefer the Dutch version) The earlier versions have white ink while the later production has orange. I think you'll find a bit more extention in this tube compared to the Tung Sols. They are 'taller' so they will stick out of the ModWright a bit more than 5687's and run a bit cooler as well. You may find this variant to be microphonic ( like a lot of the 5687 family) but in this application it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
