Oops! I just replied to the other post - well, no harm done obviously.Honestly, I think the LPS is a darn good tube to use OEM. The supply is good, the quality is VERY good, the price is decent for OEM quantities, the tube is quiet, and it sounds nice.
One other thing - the LPS will fit under a snap-on tube shield. The GT and Tung-Sol reissues will not. Maybe they'll fit under a j-slot shield, I don't know.
"Reading glasses" - ha! You should see me trying to read the value on a glass fuse end cap... it ain't purty... Oh to have my 25-year old eyes back! Hee hee!
