I have a Sylvania JHS 12ax7 with 1951 date codes. However, the etched code 12ax7 is contained within an RCA type box, rather than the open print that I usually see on Sylvania tubes. Could indicate RCA manufacture and Sylvania relabel. I just need to dig out some known RCA ax7 of that vintage and compare the internal construction, though it does initially look like RCA construction.
