Ebay and its participants IS a business. Ebay is geared to the seller not the buyer. Everyone knows this including the OP.There is nothing unfair about this particular transaction esp if one considers that the buyer gets two NOS 6EU7s delivered to his door for <$22.00. If one wants to purchase NOS tubes and receive service with a smile, there are a number of places one can go including a few sponsors of this forum. BTW, one of them, AES lists 6EU7s @ $22.65 EACH before shipping and hdlg. Methinks the OP got a bargain in spite of the perceived excessive shipping expense.
I was going to finish this off with a mini rant regarding the "global" consequences of expecting the very best for the very least w/o consideration of the future consequences of such an attitude which seems to lay just beneath the surface of this thread...but I won't.
