It's been 30 years, but my first higher end (to me) speakers were the Audio Physic Spark. There was a shop in Toledo (now gone) the carried the entire AP line. The Sparks were on the lower end of their line, but I loved them. My son was in high school at the time and used to invite his friends over to listen to them....they were in awe at the clarity. Occasionally, I would go to that Audio shop, where the owner would let me sit in one his AP rooms and just listen to their higher end stuff....stuff of dreams for me at the time. Since, I've gone through probably a dozen speakers, and now am quite comfy with a pair of Merlins. Of my past speakers, only Totem and AP bring back really fond memories. If you go ahead with a pair I'd love to know what you think.
