RE: Been browsing for different speakers, from my Vandys

Without auditioning, it might be helpful to call dealers who sell AP speakers and others that you are interested in to get their impressions as well. I recently spoke with a dealer who sold Vandersteen, Qln, Fyne, Joseph Audio, Totem, Klipsch, etc., etc. and was more helpful regarding nuances and why one set of speakers might be better than another for someone's particular needs and tastes. I find reviews are mostly all the same in praising speakers...rarely committing to why to avoid them.
