I haven't fully worked that out yet. Most likely I'll remove the plastic cup at the back of the speaker which contains the binding posts. I'll make up an aluminum plate with two pair of binding posts attached, one pair for each driver. Attach the plate with screws and some gasket material, and I'm done.

I've also considered the same type of plate with holes drilled, and just run the speaker wire directly to the drivers. I'll use silicone to seal up around the hole after the wires are in place. This is probably a better way to go (eliminates connectors), but it really isn't very practical.

Glad you liked my "system weakness" comment. I mean, this is hi-fi, not the Miss Universe contest. What's with those questions?!!

Good luck with your project. I'll post my results when I'm done if anyone's interested.
