Millen, there is no excuse for the acoutics on this disc! I just listened to a Thelonious Monk recording which was recorded in 1957 on a portable mono tape recorder (Live at the Five Spot) which has a disclaimer about the sonics on the back cover and it sounds better than the current Neil Young disc! I stated that I have no qualms with Young's position on the war. I find it hard to apologize for the atrocious sonics on this disc in spite of the political sentiments being voiced.Jack
