..agreed. IMHO, never heard much of anything anywhere from anyone with the raw emotion and feelings that has (maybe 'Blood On The Tracks' comes close). Incredible power, rage, love, disdain, delicacy, hatred, struggle, fear, doubt, etc. All in about 40 minutes. A masterpiece. Still gives me goosebumps.Imagine is a close second, and All Things Must Pass maybe third due to the sheer volume of good stuff. Pauls' first two strike me a having moments of greatness, but too much fluff. 'Junk' just doesn't do it for me, but 'Maybe I'm Amazed' and 'Every Night' are wonderful, some of his best work. And his two of his best songs never made it to a normal release (Another Day and Oh Woman Oh Why). So, Ram fourth, McCartney fifth in my book. Put the aforementioned two songs on the first LP, it moves to third.
All IMHO, of course.
