Plastic Ono Band has always sounded better to me than Imagine. All Things Must Pass doesn't deserve to be saddled with the mediocre jam rec, but I think it's Harrison's best work.
The Ringo album is fun, but I think Beaucoups Of Blues is a better record.
Band On The Run? Perhaps, but I second what Marshall said as I prefer both McCartney & Ram. But Wings Over America is not bad considering it's a...triple live album.
Plastic Ono Band is one of the most intense & personal records anyone's ever made, and considering who made it & why, I think it's kind of a shame it's been eclipsed by Imagine. It's a one-of-a-kind record from an all-time great who, I think, peaked with it. But then it was really the first time he put together an album of songs that were all his.
If I could pick one album for a Beatles-hater to listen to, that would be the one.
