it's like the music industry and the artists "it" wants to promote are mostly disposable now. i too am very much into having the "physical" piece of music in my hands to admire the artwork, lyrics, etc...(vinyl is and will always be my #1 choice!) and the sound quality is much better than a download any day. and the actual CD (or vinyl) will not contain any viruses either!well it's obvious you and i are serious music lovers and all we can hope for is that this is cyclical, but i'm becoming a bit more pessimistic that the peak of the music industry and the creativity has long since passed. that's why it's almost pure joy when you do discover a new album that hits you like nothing else has in a long, long time.
