or the Szell on sacd or LP?I have been going through all my fifths, keep not getting to the Eroica. I did listen to Salzburg Festival Czech Phil Eroica Szell and E. Kleiber COA. Typical of both conductors, and good versions indeed.
I don't go for this historical stuff so much, but both are acceptable mono versions, if you must have mono.
