That's a much more difficult question to comprehend, let alone answer. I can (barely) fathom where someone might not have heard Dylan himself, but it would be near impossible to not have heard a song of his done by someone, at some time (even in a commercial, a film, a TV show ) over the past 45 years. And anyone that reads might surely have noticed the name in print and possibly have been intrigued enough to find out what all the ink was for. How could anyone be so isolated? Why would anyone want to be?
Well, at least it's not John Williams or Bill Laswell that was hired...
