Thanx for the tips on Cluster and Jon Hassell - I will definitely check 'em out.
Yep, Eno is a true musical visionary. I don't like all of his work - hell, even some of his highly regarded works I do not like - but I can respect their significance. I would like to think most music-lovers would at least have some idea of his work and contribution to music, even if it is jut his production stuff for more commercial bands.
This whole ambient thing is making music fun for me again - prob what I needed given my grumpiness over the past few months. Time for me to put in another music order – sacrificing most of my coffee and alcohol has left me with more $$$ for music!
