My Goodness........

I was racking my brain at work yesterday, - without my CDs at home to look at, - looking for some varied Ambient suggestions for you. But you and DaveC are already on a very interesting path....

I thought of Cluster, and some of the interesting, - (although somewhat pretentious), early work of Fripp and Eno.

Have you heard of Eno and Hassell: "Fourth World, Possible Musics?"

Nice IMO: and Jon Hassell is on a number of "world-like-ambient" collaborations that I have as well...

Isn't it amazing what Eno began?

I was incredulous some time ago that a poster over in General didn't know who Eno was... No offense to anyone, - but it shocks me when I encounter someone who's never heard of him....
