No, I could never pull your leg and tell you the Flyinsky surpasses the Ares in resolution. As I've said, they're somewhat cut from the same R2R cloth that favors musicality over resolution. I've found both to be resolving enough for me... but with both offering a little forgiveness to less than perfect program material. The Flyinsky may be a tad warmer/smoother in fact, yet strangely more involving. Sorry if I've left you more confused than ever.
