My 2200 suffers from the vibration issue as well. I first
experimented with a small bag of sand setting directly
on top of the player right about the drive unit. This seemed
to dampen the vibrations. I later purchased one of Gutwire Notepads
which does just as good and looks better. I have read where some
people have used some of the Blue Ice soft packets that
you freeze and put in your cooler. The thick fluid in the
pouch seems to dampen the vibration like the Notepad does.
I also added one of the C7 Audioquest power cords which
also seemed to improve the sound.Keep Tweaking.... :-)
