Amen to your last paragraph! Wires I am still on the fence with and I can see your point on active components but again, what happens when you turn the unit or whatever, off!As for your paragraph on hating something out of the box? Totally correct but I think my reason for hating it more after hours of "burn in"is because I had a lot of time to brude over all the money I wasted and what I might possibly not get back if I was able to get it sold.
