I thought I had posted this before but............

Jay - thanks for the tip regarding the RCA 12BH7A and Tele 12AU7. I already had the Teles but recently bought the RCAs and am extremely impressed. The soundstaging with these tubes is outstanding. It is not as smooth (slightly) as the Teles and the soundstage is not as deep. However, it is more detailed and it does make the system sound like the musicians are in the room. It really is quite incredible. This is the biggest impact tube I have tried on the Cary.

I would love to know how this tube compares to the Tele ECC802S. Is the ECC802S simply a better version of the Tele 12AU7 or will I be getting the same effect as the RCA 12BH7A but much better? If I can get what the RCAs do but better I think the Tele ECC802S would be worth the money.
