I'm chiming in a bit late, but based on your consideration, the factors affecting the sound may include all of those. The larger gauge on a power amp certainly makes a difference in my experience. Copper purity, design architecture, and dielectric also play a big role. I was using an AQ NRG-4 on my DAC, but switched to a Wireworld Electra 7 after I had changed some other equipment and it was definitely an improvement because it was a better match. The NRG-4 is still a good cable using OCC copper and is no doubt a good fit for source gear or many preamps, but definitely something beefier for a power amp seems to be called for. I don't know what everyone else's experience may be, but as a general rule of thumb I've found power cables to be the most significant cable, followed closely by interconnects, and then speaker cables. Have fun exploring.
