Lucky you..., as the version I once owned were around 2001, after all of 3 days they were sold to a buddy of mine that owned a record shop, I've to assume this was around the time the conductors were being sourced from China, and even with an Antique Sound Labs tube integrated amp and pair of Vienna Acoustics Haydn speakers ( which were far from being bright ) the sound on my end was slightly tilted in a manner I just wasn't accustomed to at the time.
Yet it's rather weird how one's ears evolve overtime | things we liked, we no longer seem to tolerate in the least | while the items we felt were crappy, so refreshing | akin to being musical.
