For what it's worth, I always like to test a cable's resistance. So far I've never come across anything that doesn't measure the lowest possible on my DVM at .1 ohms. I also check for any cross contamination or shorts between the leads. Never any issues and have to admit terminations are nicely done. No presence of shoddy work whatsoever. Somewhat impressive overall.

I check all cable's before plugging into my system regardless of their origin. Don't want any surprises if shorts exist.
