Hey all,
after investing reasonable time and money into making some pure silver RCA IC's, I've discovered the sound a little harsh for my liking. The cables are terminated with copper/silver/RH plugs and, in fairness, only have about 20 hours on them, if that. Its the vocals where they are particularly harsh.
Question- should I just leave them for a proper burn in period of time to see if the harshness disappears or change them out for copper ones with copper plugs? My gut tells me the copper will take out the harsh analytical sound and maybe add a bit of body over brightness.
Thoughts? The IC is between solid state amp and tube output CD player
