Yes I believe that cables do make a difference. I haven't tried a lot of different cables, but have been heard differences. I'm overall satisfied with the IC's I have. I tried soem PS audio Statement biwires this summer and found that the T2's I have bettered them.
My post was meant to be more conversive than an actual cry for help. But it does seem like many DIY'ers have now found a way to make a quick buck with a product that is easily made with little investment which has lead to market saturation.
I thank you for your offer of assistance and may take you up on it if and when the need arises. I am a craftsman so working with my hands is possible. But the homework necessary and the time needed is somewhat prohibitive at this busy time in my life. Plus, I'd rather play golf for relaxation
