Hi everyone
I'm wondering if anyone can make a recommendation for a really good DIY speaker cable that would mate well with a system that tends to be a bit on the bright/analytical side. I love all the detail, but a bit of sweetening would be nice if this is possible. I tried audioquest crystal, I didn't like that much at all. I tried an older Tara Labs cable, and that was abit better. I've tried Jon Risch's twisted cross-connected Belden creation, and that was better. I'm currently using a hand-braided Cat5 that I like the best thus far. The imaging and detail are phenomenal, but the sound is still a bit bright tending to get kind of harsh on loud passages.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Chris
