Therefore, use as little labour as possible.
And replace as many over priced high margin parts as possible.
This is modern panel shop work.
Work is charged at insurance company agreed standardised hourly rates - pretty tight hours for big jobs - Insurance companies say that that is a win for consumers.
But the parts prices are batshit crazy insane. And you can't argue when the shop says "But that's the price from the car maker!"

Parts interpreting and painting are the only skills in modern smash repair work.
