Did I Deox my Marantz into oblivion?

My beloved 2238B receiver was sounding scratchy and the phono output was way too low (it had been OK before I had detached my tt for a while). So I figured I would give it a good cleaning with some air and Deoxit. I removed the casing and tried to shpritz the switches, pots, and jacks. When I reconnected the speakers, the turntable, and other inputs, there was no output. The lights come on and the tuner is obviously working, but no sound from the speakers.I did check the obvious things like the fuse, speaker contacts, switches, ground, etc.
I should add that although I have had plenty of vintage equipment over the years, I am not a gearhead and I do not want to mess with replacing or soldering components. It's either some comparatively simple fix or the repair shop. Any ideas? Thanks!
