I think you're right. I probably should do the 7. And probably use the SP4 if it already works until the 7 is ready. If it dies, it dies. I am incredibly slow! (and lazy).

The Dyna PAS-2 (I actually have 3) will wait for a time. At least I have built in spare parts!

The Scott I have not heard in a long time. It was part of my first serious setup and drove a pair of RCA monoblock 50W class A PPP 6L6, PA amplifiers. Heated the downstairs of my parents house!

I threw the PAT-4 in the list for one reason. I have actually read some good reviews online of the PAT-4 and that surprised me. I had always thought that conventional wisdom was that it wasn't very good, so thought someone might respond. I had one in my first bought-new outfit with the ST-120. It was fun, but I sold it 3 years later and moved on to better sound. I don't really consider it a serious contender unless there is some magic mod out there.
