i traded for a sansui tuner amp and a huge set of homebuilt JBL speakers in the late 60s early 70s...i traded a buddy vet who himself originally put everything together while in the service (in germany) the sansui was a weird 3 chanel tuner amp , the 3rd channel was labled " center channel" and was just a combined left/right, the power rating was 35 watts per.. which even considering the varied power ratings world wide was a lowend rating.....BUT that amplifier with those very big JBL speakers (at least 12 inches per driver/per side, cause i looked) got me kicked out of multiple houses, and as i remember the distortion was quite low... i wish i could remember the exact model but that was over forty years ago and i foolishly got rid of the whole system primarily because of the low power rating...it wasnt untill years later i reallised my shortsidedness

- Your 12 inch JBL speakers might have been two D130s. I had those - alaskahiatt 18:06:42 02/06/22 (0)
