I had a few AU series integrated amps over the years. Honestly, I preferred the sound of the lower powered receivers and integrated amps. I never had the AU-101. But if it's under 40 watts I'll bet it has that classic well liked Sansui sound.
The older receivers had a unique sound. Very musical, enjoyable and easy to listen too for hours.
