My ecl86 amplifier is a fully restored Heathkit AA-32 & I can hear no appreciable diff per brands as long as the tubes are not well-used. While I have no genuine diamond Teles to compare, I have French Mazda made for Telefunkin, Siemens, Mullard, Ediswan, Amperex, Philips, Sylvania, RCA, Ken-rad, G.E., Mitsubishi, & Tungsram.
