At the Kutztown Pa.swap meet we have open air listening sesions on Friday night. The sound without room reflections, standing waves and aural nuls etc. is interesting. We have used Snell, Fried, KLH, Dyna, EV, Klangfilm, Altec and a bunch of other speakers. The pavilian is huge and has an asphalt floor and roof only. Wood tables populate the area covered with radios, audio gear, parts and paper, and ham gear. May 11 and 12 is going to be a blast again.What are your observations about open air listening?
