I would probably be just as curious.
Chances are it runs on 12volts. I've got some 12v power supplies around so I would connect one as an experiment. Something two or three amps would probably be ok. The tt will only draw what amperage it needs.
Don't know if you have any around. if wall warts are what you have and it doesn't work you'll know right away and I don't think it will do any damage.
