Last fall, I purchased New Advent loudspeakers (locally) and I am in the process of retro-fitting the Advents with new convex surrounds, binding posts and later, new walnut veener.1. What does the "0" stand for, Ground or Positive?
I searched the AA Vintage posts and I did not find an answer.2. Replacing stock binding posts with Eichmann Technlogies Cablepod binding posts (tellurium copper, 24K gold plated).
Has any Inmates replaced the stock binding posts with new replacements? What brand?3. Has anyone taken a New Advent loudspeaker to a carpenter shop for a new furniture-grade walnut veener? What was the cost?
4. As for the surround replacements, I will probaby contact Parts Express as recommended by Bold Eagle. Looneytunes supplier never returned my email.
5. Crossover upgrade: TBA
