Hi all!My new Kenwood KT-917 tuner has finally arrived.
It is in near mint condition and seems to works flawlessly.
I got no user manual, so I have this question:
There is this DDL LED signal lamp (it is located right above the 102 MHz mark on the tuning scale - see picture).
What is DDL? On this picture found on the net, it is lit up.There is no button on the tuner that controls it.
I tuned to all available stations, but couldn't get this DDL LED to be in the "operate" status...
Is my tuner ok? Everything else works perfectly.
The only thing that I could find on Google, is that DDL could stand for: Distortion Detection Loop
This tuner is 25+ years old and without alignment, its sound quality is better than on my two years old Cambridge Audio T-500 tuner. So I can't really complain...
Thanks in advance,
Aleksandar
