to me at least, that the DDL function is operating in response to the reading off the multipath meter (look at the photo). Now look at your tuner, tune in a station with a lot of multipath distortion and see if your DDL light comes on. If not the light is probably not working, but then it's probably not important if you can re-orient your antenna to minimize the multipath distortion. If your not registering any multipath distortion you are in hog heaven so to speak.
