I inherited my late friend's (artist, drunkard, womanizer and what else ..) "modified" Yamaha-T80. "Modification" was to use a solvent to expose those red lights. For some reason I like this tuner more than aligned and recapped T-2. I wonder if I will change caps in this one I will dislike it like T-2.
Detroit has a few good stations. WRCJ classical days and jazzy nights all week without commercials public supported radio is a delight. NPR when they don't try to do politics (hopelessly leftist :) and some cool Motown music.
Fm is the best music format when its good. It just gets the essence of music best. There is something transformative in the airways which change MP3 format into some magic over the air. And, some of those radios do look like a Christmas tree on the shelf.
