Perhaps among the audiophile community, radio may not be what it once was. But they tend to be a fickle lot anyway, using changing technology as an excuse to buy new equipment. Look how many of them gave up their LPs and turntables in the early 1990s, only to later regret it. Then some of them used that as an excuse to buy a new table and a new collection of LPs.
Or, then again, I may simply be a Luddite who has more tuners than any one man needs.
